Here's what we're looking for!


  • Modellers

    Open



    The modellers are the people in charge of to model different structure or object to fit the needs of the mappers. They also have to properly create the UV maps and textures of their models before submitting it to anyone.

  • Animators

    Open



    The animators are the people in charge to animate the custom contents or preexisting contents to allow dynamics environment. Their principal task will be to animate different destruction scenes and simple Interaction such as the press of a button or the movement of the Portal Gun.

  • Scenario Writer

    Closed



    The scenario writer is helping the core of the project. This person is in charge to plug the holes between each parts of the story and work it out to get a smooth storytelling. This person will also indirectly contribute to the maps design.



  • Texture Artists

    Open



    The texture artists are there to help the development by making different textures and assets. This is very useful to give personality to the levels. However, do not confuse the Texture Artists with the UV for Models, Their job is just to create applicable textures for the Maps such as: Decals, overlay or even the environment such as the walls, ceiling, etc.

  • Voice Actors

    Open



    The voice actors are the people who will records different lines of text which will serve to give a voice to different character in game. They also help giving a personality to the characters.

  • Level Editors

    Open



    The level designers are the people who are helping the development by creating the maps by following different instructions such as the map design informations written in the Dev-Document. Most of the Work will be about mapping.

  • Concept Artist

    Closed



    The concept artist is the person who will be in charge of some concept art that we can release to promote the game. That person will have to draw and work on image editing by following some instructions. Most of the work will be the recreation of map screenshots and of course concepts of maps design. The Concept artist is very important throughout the development because this is the person who will help the mappers with different concepts by following the environment’s descriptions. The concept artist will also work on drawing 3D models such as structural components, portal gun design and character design.



  • SMF Animator

    Open



    This person has an important role throughout the game. the animator must use Source Film Maker to create different small clips and trailers. The animator will work with the musicians to create the two Mod trailers. SFM will be used in the development of Abyss due to the fact that Portal 2 does not support NPC A.I . The SFM Animator will create different scenes most of which won't be more than 10 seconds long. The scenes will be used throughout the game for storytelling and some Easter Eggs.

  • Miscellaneous



    This category is reserved for people who are helping the Team without being a member by themselves. Either that the person in question left the Team for different reason or that the contribution is too small to consider the role as an Official Team Member.


    Instance of smaller roles are:

    Game Translation: They translate the UI and dialogue in multiples languages.


    Small Contributions:

    - Textures: They have created textures for the game.
    - Models: They have created models for the game.
    - Others: The people mentioned here contributed to the game in various ways. It could be from a one time contribution for any of the job listed above or have helped the project in a smaller but noticeable way. For instance, Advertising.
